To my little Caden,
You had a big road trip with me and your mommy and daddy. We went to see Uncle Danny and Aunt Marissa and Chase.  You were such a good little guy.
I retired last week so I am babysitting now one day a week and today is your day.  You will be here in about 1/2 hour.
You sure have a very special place in our family and we just love to cuddle you.

Welcome to our family little Mr Caden Andrew.  We can't believe you were born on your daddy's birthday. Wow, how did that happen.  I think it is because Daddy doesn't want any more spotlights and if it is your birthday, he will be happy to take a back seat.
Well, you weren't even one week old and you gave us all quite a scare.  In 2009 they started testing all children for CF and you were tested positive, which means you are a carrier.  Yesterday we all went to Pittsburgh with your mommy and daddy to have a sweat test done to see if you had the disease.  It was a pretty scary week for all of us but thank goodness you do not have it, you are just a carrier.  So, you will have to have your future wife checked before you decide on kids.   Still not a good place to be, but you will never have the disease and it is a terrible one.  When the doctor said you were negative your mommy and us two grammies just cryed!!
I love you already little fella and can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you
