My precious Caden

I just can't tell you how much I love you, because there are no words that would do it justice.  You are such a wonderful boy. 

I can't believe I haven't written to you for several months. 

We had a great summer and we did a lot of activities, like, creek walk, bike ride, hike through the woods. 

You are now in third grade and are doing so well.  You had santa secret shopping at school last week and most kids have some extra money left over after buying presents and most kids want to buy stuff for themselves, but you said you wanted to buy for the adults, because they don't really get too much and you get so much for Christmas. How compassionate is that. 

You are playing soccer now with your mom and dad as the coaches.  You are very fast. 

No matter where I see you, you run up to me and give me a big hug! makes my whole day, just that one big hug.  

Remember when things go wrong in life and they will, because that is life. Just pick yourself up, dust yourself off and go on the the next thing.  Don't let things get you down because they are only things and you are strong and courageous and I am so proud of you

 My dearest Caden,

You were here the other day and I don't know how it came up, probably just out of nowhere, like most things, but you said "I hope Bowen doesn't go to college" and you started to tear up and I asked why and you said "because I am afraid he will go away and won't talk to me anymore"  How sad is that.  You love him so much.  You were with him on saturday and you guys just walk around with your arms around each other.  I sure hope you stay close because family is so important and will always be there for you in times of crisis. 

Remember you can change your course, you are in control and you are such a wonderful boy and so sweet and sensitive and so crazy :)

 My dear sweet sensitive Caden,

I love you more and more every day.  You are such a gentle spirit, so compassionate and loving.

It has been a long year for everyone and you and your family came to florida to spend two weeks with Papa and I because you were doing your school from home and daddy could work from Florida also. You loved all the neighbors and they loved you too. The first day you and Kiera went to Kathi's house you and Kiera would go over several times a day and the first day, she answered the door and you said "well, you could open the door" and she says only if you are coming in because I don't want the bugs coming in and you said "we are coming in" and she said she was in her pajamas and Kiera  said "thats ok, we don't care"  So, you two went in and you said I like your sun porch, can we go sit out there? so of course, she took you to her sunporch.  Another day you asked her if she had any snacks. HAHA. 

You are a little daredevil too, You are always pushing yourself to the limit and jumping or doing tricks or climbing walls or whatever, but always pushing to do something more daring.   You are a lot like your daddy and it shows.

When I have you at my house and he comes home and walks through the door, his whole face just lights up when he sees you.  I love watching my son be so happy with his children.  It is a wonderful feeling and God has been so good to all of us. 

I could just hug you all day long
