My precious little Caden,
You are so stinkin cute and smart too and loving.  All rolled up in one little boy.  You have started to say "you are my favorite" (to everyone of course, but it sure feels good when you say it).
Last night Uncle Bryan comes in and you say "I love you Uncle Bryan, but I love you and I love you"  What little 3 year old says those things.  so loving
Since Bryce and Bowen are in school now, once a month we go to McDonalds and get everyone a happy meal and we go and have lunch with them at their school.  The first time when Bowen came in, you go to him and put your hands on his shoulders and you stand on your tippy toes and stretch to kiss him.  Bowen kissed you back, kinda surprised b/c sometimes he gets a little shy about kissing.
I sure do miss having you living here and coming down those stairs and saying "grammie , where are you?" But you love your new home and your new bedroom.
You have a very hard time going to daycare and it breaks my heart.  I don't know why, but you hate going there and it makes me so very sad.
You have a vocabulary that feels like I am talking to an adult. You are crazy smart.  And you forever want to know how something works.
You know that Grammie cannot say no to you.  One time we were all sitting here and you wanted apple juice and you knew that your mommy thought you had enough for the day, so you hid behind my shoulder so mommy couldn't see you and asked for apple juice.  Of course, mommy heard you.  And then the other day we were at a little party and you came to me and whispered...will you get me a brownie, so I did and then a little bit later you said ...will you get me a chippy.
I am so very much in love with you Caden and I so look forward to our times together.

Oh my precious Caden,
I can't believe I haven't written more this summer.  You are living with me, as are your mommy and daddy and Kiera and it makes for a very busy summer.  Every morning I hear little feet running across the floor and then you come downstairs and yell "grammie rita"  I sure am going to miss that morning greeting.  You asked me the other day if I heard you running across the floor.  Caden I love you with all my heart and you are the absolute most loving child I have ever had the pleasure to know.  You are always hugging and saying I love you.
And your favorite people are Bryce and BoBo!  Tomorrow is the last day for them to be here until next summer and I just don't know what you will think about that.  It is going to be so hard for you, I just can't imagine.
I love hearing the conversations between you and Bowen.  Here is one:

 Bowen: what is your favorite color?

C: pink

Grammie" Bowen what is your favorite color?

B green

C mine is pink

B when you get bigger it will change to another color

C mine is pink

B yes, but when you get old you will like another color

C mine is pink

B but pink is kinda like a girls color and you will change

C i like pink

this goes on for quite a few more times and finally bowen laughs and said yes i know you like pink

You always wanted to hug Bowen when we picked him up from daycare and Bowen would say not in front of the cars.  One time I asked if you hugged Bryce and you said "no, but I need to and I need a kiss too"

Your mommy said to you "I love you with all my heart" and you said "I love you with all your heart" and mommy said "who do you love with your heart and you said Bryce and BoBo!!

You are just like your daddy, you are always trying to figure out something and see how it works. You will be an engineer, I'm thinking

I love you with all my heart little man and I love coming home to you and waking up to you

My precious Caden,
You have so much love, I just can't believe it!! you are always loving someone and kissing and hugging.  Makes me feel so wonderful, nothing better.  Last Sunday at church you saw me and came running up and hugged me and then before you were going to run to the potty, you gave my sleeve a kiss.  Later we were sitting at a table with Bryce and BoBo and you held your hand out across the table and Bryce is so shy, she just sat there and you said "take my hand" so she did and you said " I love you Brycee"  You just melt my heart.

The other day I took you and Bobo to Menchies (frozen yogurt place) and after you got your yogurt we walked to the part where you put all the goodies on the yogurt.  And there are tons of different candies etc and I said "What do you want ?" and you just waved your arm over all of them.  And this cracked me up because you are always talking and never stop and I asked again and you waved your arm over the whole part again.  I asked if you wanted any fruit and of course you did not!

The other night we went to see a magician at the library and he had you laughing so hard, your daddy took you potty and he asked if you liked it and you couldn't even make a sentence you were so excited!!  You are just the most special little guy ever and I love you so much

My sweet Caden,
We were in McDonalds the other day with Bowen and you bent your arm and put your elbow in the air and said "see my muscle" and BoBo says, thats not your muscle that is your elbow!!  so funny.
We went sled riding one day and you were afraid to go down the hill because it looked a little too big and at one point you sat on the sled and quick as a wink Bowen shoved you down the hill and then he looks at me and said, there, that is how you get him to go down the hill!  And he is your best friend, haha

My sweet Caden,
When you pray you say "Hi God", and then you always thank him for Bryce and BoBo.
The other day you were here and you were running and banged your head into the couch and your mommy says, oh caden, you have to be careful and you say "look at my ankles"  I guess you wanted to change the subject.  But whenever you fall or hurt yourself you never seem to cry, you just pause a moment and then take off again.
Papa and I were in Florida this month and you came to see us and at one point I was holding you and you said "oh boy, grammi loves me"  and you are so right, I love you so much

My precious Caden,
I sure love you and you are such a character.  You love to go pick up Bowen from school and the other day we were there in line and it was taking forever and I sighed and you said "grammie why you (and you made the noise of a sigh) and I didn't answer you and you said it again and you said "grammie, listen to me, why you (sigh).
You are so gosh darn smart and the questions you ask and the things you say astound me. You are constantly looking to see how to put something to together or take something apart.
You are spending the night with us tonight and papa came home and asked what you were doing here and you said "my mommy left me here"
I have the best time with you and you light up my whole world.
