 My dear Caden,

I think you were going through a growth spurt, you seem to be getting so tall.

You guys have a new puppy, Boo, She is a cutie and she sure does love you and Kiera. Papa and I had to put our dog Lucy down a few weeks ago, we were so sad. You and your daddy stopped on your way home from soccer that night and you gave me the biggest hug ever.

You are doing very well in soccer. I love to watch you run, you are fast.

The other night, Kiera, had cheerleading practice and you didn’t want to go so you came here and we were going for a walk. That is not your favorite thing to do, but you went with us and you talked the whole time. It was so nice to hear all your stories about school and your friends.

 Dear Caden,

You are getting so big, and I am missing my cuddle time with you. But you still are the sweetest kid ever. You’ve just finished three on three basketball camp, which you really enjoyed. It was an hour and 45 minutes a morning. I picked you up and dropped you off part of those days. Then one day we were talking about computers and you said “ My dad’s a hacker”. You are not wrong ha ha, too funny.

We were talking about you were three on three basketball and you won the games several days and you were hoping would win the tournament day. And I said well, you know someone has to lose. And you said yeah, but it I don’t want it to be me.

 My sweet Caden,

I went to your house the other night to put you and Keira to bed because your parents had a meeting. You guys always say prayers before you go to bed and you thanked God For you being able to mow the grass and you were thankful you were able to help out your parents. How sweet is that?

 My dear, sweet Caden,

You were just here last week with your family in Florida. We always celebrate your mom and dad in your birthday when you’re here. Your mom and dad actually turned 40 this year. And you’ll be a big 11. You are the sweetest little guy I know. You’re always looking to see how something works. We went to Universal one day and we went on a ride, a virtual ride, and when we got off, you said I looked around and I figured out how they did that. I thought to myself of course you figured it out . You are going to be just like your dad. Grami’s So proud of you.

You slept with me every night and the first thing I heard in the morning would be “grandma, I love you” you can bet that’s the best thing I ever woke up to.

I love you and I miss you
